Three-Roller Vortex Surface Modification Mill

Three-Roller Vortex Modification Mill is continuous dry coating equipment customized for kaolin filler. Three staggered rotors form multi-stage vortex field, relying on powder self-friction heat to melt modifiers without external heaters. It integrates de-agglomeration and uniform coating, matching ball mill, ACM and flash dryer for mass production of plastic & rubber grade kaolin.

How It Works

Technical breakdown of the core processes and technology behind Three-Roller Vortex Surface Modification Mill.

Flaky dry kaolin powder is quantitatively fed into the first mixing chamber via sealed screw feeder; solid modifiers (stearic acid, aluminate, titanate) are metered synchronously by dosing pump.

Three serial triangular staggered rotor units rotate at high speed to generate cross-direction turbulent vortex. Kaolin agglomerates are fully dispersed under repeated shear and collision between multi-stage chambers. Friction between kaolin flakes and rotors generates stable heat to melt coating agents, enabling full contact between modifier and kaolin surface hydroxyl groups for even surface coating.

Whole system runs under full negative pressure to prevent dust leakage. Modified loose kaolin powder is conveyed to cyclone & bag collectors. It can directly connect upstream grinding/drying equipment without intermediate silos to form one-stop closed production line.
